My group visited Rome on the 14th September. Our driver was Paulo. He was fantastic, relaxed and very knowledgable. He ensured we saw all the main sites, escorted us into the venues and happily responded to our requests. Also many thanks to Oana who answered my pre trip questions. This is a well managed professional company who I would not only use again but highly recommend
We wanted to thank Oana(from the office) for all her help designing our trips. We had a wonderful time in Lucca & Pisa with Walter as our guide. He was very courteous, polite and knowledgeable and made our day. We were met at 8:00 AM right at the pier when we got off the Nieu Amsterdam on Aug.30, 2011. He made us feel at home in Italy, even suggesting a great place for lunch with homemade pasta. We didn't have to do much walking as he parked right near all the sights we visited. We even toured a winery and had a tasting as well. We can't thank him enough for making our trip so memorable. He was, indeed a gentlemen and we would recommend him highly as a tour guide.
On Aug. 31st, we were met again at the pier by Constantino (Tino) who took us first to Orvieto and we had time to look around and browse. The highlight of our trip was to Civita di Bagnoregio, the disappearing (vanishing or fading) city. Tino explained everything to us and made reservations to have lunch outdoors on the patio facing the fading city. We also rode to different parts of the area which were so charming. As we had been in Rome a few times, this was quite different and enjoyable. We will definitely recommend Share a Shore for family and friends traveling in Italy.

Daniele was awesome in helping me organize a group of Royal Carribbean cruisers (who did not know each other) to tour Rome together. He was extremely knowledgeble, and was flexible with the itinerary to meet our needs. Very entertaining! Transportation was comfortable, clean, and able to come close to all attractions, making for less walking for the older members of the group. Adequate time allowed at sites. Very pleased!

Looking forward to a fun trip
The two of us set sail on the Crown Princess on May 1st, 2010, on a trip of a lifetime. In planning our trip we noticed that cruise ship shore excursions were given low ratings, so we decided to join with other cruisers and schedule private tours. This was one of the best decisions we made. What an extraordinary adventure it was. Share a Shore Excursion played an enormous role in making our trip so extraordinary. We were dealing with a disability and were afraid of not being able to keep up with a large group, and we wanted to be in a smaller vehicle that could get closer to what we wanted to see. Share a Shore was wonderful in this regard, we could linger longer or leave sooner and make up our own agenda. We were in a small group of 6 to 8 in minivans, which suited our needs to a tee. They carried water, umbrellas, took us to the top of a mountain over looking the Amalfi Coast, to a family owned restaurant for lunch where platters of food and wine were brought to the table. They really went the extra mile. We booked 4 tours with Share a Shore, Rome, Florence, Sienna and the Almalfi Coast. Our guides were professional, fun, and full of interesting information. They really knew their facts and showed us a love of country. The cost compared to the cruise ship was similar, but much more worthwhile and personal.
